Two Companions of Dundas Royal Arch Chapter No. 497, who are also office-bearers of the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Stirling and Clackmannan and who have given long and exceptional services to masonry, in particular Royal Arch masonry have been awarded Honorary Grand Rank.

Excellent Companions James Dick and Jack Nixon were awarded the rank of Honorary Grand Stewards by the Grand Superintendent, MEC Hugh B. Edmond MBE at the Annual Installation meeting of Dundas Royal Arch Chapter No. 497 on Thursday 8 October 2009.

The Second Grand Principal of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland, MEC Archie McWatt invested the two companions with their jewels of office.
